Howdy! Continuing an unintentional theme (which, I totally don’t mind) let’s take a look at a horror comic from Fifth Dimension Comics, Obscura Vol. 1

Wonder Woman hits SDCC
StandardSo this is the official image of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Superman v Batman movie, Gritty ‘Splosion Farts or whatever the hell is called (Dawn Of Justice, Donna Justice?) She looks pretty good, I get that some people say she isn’t buff enough. I get people questioning heels on her boots, what I don’t get is scrolling through comments, and one of the very first things I see is shit like, “Ugh, she’s ugly,” seriously people? FUCK. OFF. I don’t have any real desire to see this movie, aside from supporting Wonder Woman and showing DC\WB that people want a WW movie. But seriously, that’s what people have to say? Fuckers. Shit like that bugs me, I have 2 little girls that dig comics and superhero movies, but do I even want to bring them into this fan world? There are a lot of indefensible creeps in comics, and they are loud… But there are more great fans and wonderful people out there. Still, some people should be kicked in the balls.

Richard Gravy
StandardThis post has nothing to do with comics, it’s just funny to me. Check out out what someone typed into a search engine and was pointed here. The only thing I can think of is that I may have called Cyclops a dick. RIP our founder, the honorable Richard Gravy.

Cool Stuff, Yo
StandardHi teens, just wanted to stop by and say hi, and say thanks for listening and reading, and give a couple shout-outs to some cool folks.
First off, big thanks to The Game Huntress for all the RT’s and sticking with the show, and pointing folks are way through her blog. She talks games, movies and assorted geekiness here. I dig her interviews too, may have to do one.
Not necessarily geek related, but go check this Etsy (Rags & Old Iron) shop run by a friend of mine for some really cool prints, earrings, necklaces. Good stuff for horror fans too, tell her Kris sent ya.
Like X-books? Especially Claremont era X-books? Go check out the Gentlemen Of Leisure for issue by issue reviews of X-Men, X-Factor, New Mutants, Excalibur, as well as TV and assorted other stuff, You can kill hours upon hours here, I have and do frequently.
Like trying to explain continuity errors in comics. Or reading other people do it for you in extremely well researched theories? Go give How Would You Fix..? a read. Great stuff.
And last one for today, I doubt he needs any introduction, but go check Too Dangerous For A Girl, where Martin Gray does great reviews of comics, mostly DC, and is just a super nice dude. He is one of the reasons I wanted a blog in the first place, so go visit one of the best.
Just wanted to say thanks to some cool folks, and point you guys (and gals) to some cool sites. Thanks again.
