DC finally released a couple of their reimagined cartoon comics, one of which Scooby Apocalypse, I expected to hate based on nothing but the title. And Shaggy’s hipster new look. But did it actually deserve the hate?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
StandardHere’s the short version, from the mouth of my daughter as we were walking out of the theater, “some dude tried to get everyone to clap after the movie, but I just wanted to say the C-word.” After I stopped laughing, curiosity got the better of me, and I gave her permission to say it.
“I just kept watching the movie, and thinking, this movie is,” looks over both of her shoulders, making sure no one would hear her, and whispers, “crap.”
I was pleased to find out she has a different definition of the C-word than me. And she was right about the movie.
Review: Victor
StandardSuperheroes don’t battle in a vacuum, and supervillains care very little for who gets caught in the crossfire, and sometimes a regular man has to try when the guys in tights ain’t getting the job done.

StandardIt may be new to me or it was, now it’s late. At least I won’t have this concluded two years later. Or will I?
Review: Just Another Sheep #1
StandardI got an early look at a new book from Action Lab Entertainment that will be hitting soon, so I want to give everyone a chance to get in where they fit in, and make sure you aren’t on the outside looking in, like all the squares. Get hip to the scene after the jump.

Hipsters vs Rednecks review
StandardYesterday I posted the 5 page preview of Hipsters vs Rednecks, and today I got to sit down and read the whole book. Follow me past the jump. Or whatever, I don’t care, I was there before this review was even posted.
