Time to check in around the web with some friends of The Gravy Age to see what is what, who is where, and what’s going on out there. C’mon, Steve!
The Horror Honeys
The Horror Of Loon Lake!
StandardFirst things I should mention before I get going on this write up, I know and am friends with several people involved with the making of this book, many of which we have interviewed here on The Gravy Age. For one of the stories involved (Smell A Rat) I wrote some (bad) music inspired by it, the music was used in the background of the Kickstarter video, and my name appears twice in the book, once on the Thank You page, and on a headstone on a pin-up. I’m dead in this book! Morbid? Or funny? It’s a honor, is what it is, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t touched. So now that all that is out of the way, put on your spooky pants, and lets purify ourselves in the waters of Lake Minnetonka, and go fishing at Loon Lake.
Cool Comics And An Invitation
Standard(Note: this was supposed to post Wednesday morning and was written as such, before for whatever reason I lost all internet and cell service yesterday for the entire day)
Good morning to ye! Just wanted to take a moment this morning and point you to a couple cool things around the web and spread the love like gravy. That didn’t sound nearly as disgusting before I typed it out.
It’s National Podcast Day
StandardToday, September 30th is National Podcast Day. I just wanted to take a moment to share some podcasts I dig with with you. Podcasting is often done for no money, and more often costs the people who do it money. Maybe you can’t give all the podcasts you love some money, but you can certainly let them know you listen and you appreciate what they do. I’m going to list a bunch of podcasts I listen to as my way of showing my appreciation to all these cool folks who have provided me with hundreds of hours of free entertainment. Follow me
