Not really a review, but I had a few words to say about Modern Animals from Fifth Dimension Comics. NSFW language ahead.

Get ye to Amazon!
StandardIf you check out the Amazon Kindle app you can find screaming deals all over on Marvel Comics. I picked up both volumes of The Vision, the New Mutants Epic Collection (500+ pages), and the Black Panther Panther’s Rage stuff for like $12. Swoop in and get some comics, there are tons of recent books and big collections, with a lot of them under $5.

Test Post
StandardI just got a new tablet with some birthday giftcards, and I wanted to to try a test post to see how this thing works, I am digging it. It’s a little dusty in The Gravy Cave, but I’m clearing out the cobwebs, and knockin’ the bottom out (Of your Mooom), or whatever. I have another episode in the can, just needs a little polishing, which I’ll do tomorrow morning. Also, I’ve read stuff lately, so I’ll work on getting lots o’ stuff done. Thanks (and sorry),
-Kris

Fartbarf Friday Pt. 1
StandardInternet rabbit-holes can lead you to some cool places occasionally. Mostly though, once you start down them you are led, either through the comments or who knows how else to someone blaming everything on Space Jews. One long, winding rabbit-hole for me started with Godzilla composer Akira Ifukube and John Carpenter soundtracks, which led to me discovering Sonic State, which led to me finding the amazing Marc Doty (Automatic Gainsay) and his fantastic videos, which led to me getting a Korg MS-20 mini, which led to me looking up bands or songs featuring the MS-20, which led me to Fartbarf. With a name like that, I had to check them out, and I’m so glad I did.
Apologies for the lack of posts…
StandardIt’s been a hectic time at The Gravy Cave North. My laptop was in the last sputtering throes of usefulness. It’s been replaced and I have a Gravy On The Side with the amazing, talented, Brenna Sahatjian that is in the can. Coming soon to a podcast app of your choosing soon. As long as you choose Stitcher, iTunes, and GooglePlay lol

StandardHere’s something you don’t see too often anymore these days, a funny animal book. Let’s smoke some catnip, and take a look.
